The two Greek National Erasmus+ Agencies, Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation (INEDIVIM) and
State ScholarshipSs Foundation (IKY) participated in a beach cleaning activity in the framework of the
Crete trip event.

The activity took place on May 19, 2023 at Matala beach in Crete. The organizers of the event
warmly welcomed the participants by offering them local delicacies. Over 900 participants showed
their environmental sensitivity in practice collecting waste from the hippie beach of Matala, having
fun at the same time.

The horizontal priority of the Erasmus+ Programme "Environment and Combating Climate Change"
aims to increase the number of mobility opportunities in green sectors promoting skills
development, improving career prospects and enhancing participation in sectors of strategic
importance for sustainable development.
